Household Hazardous Waste Drop
Under a contract with the City of Fort Worth, Decatur residents have the option of delivering household hazardous waste products to the main collection center in Fort Worth. Visit or call the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center, 6400 Bridge Street, at 817-871-5257 for days and hours of operation.

Voucher Required
Decatur residents DO need a voucher. Vouchers are available at City Hall, 201 East Walnut. This ensures that the Collection Center will charge the city, not you, for your participation.

All household hazardous waste products listed below will be accepted. For more information, visit the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center website.

What’s Accepted?
Acids, aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries (all kinds, including car batteries), brake fluid, cooking oil, craft chemicals, degreasers, drain cleaner, fertilizer, fluorescent light bulbs, herbicides, household chemicals, motor oil, paints & stains, paint thinners, pest strips, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, photo chemicals, pool chemicals, oil filters, solvents, transmission fluid, and varnish.

What’s NOT Accepted?
Ammunition, asbestos, building materials, butane cylinders, computer components, electronics, explosives, medical waste, PCBs, propane cylinders, radioactive material, smoke detectors, tires, and TVs.
