Main Street Easter Event
Decatur Main Street will be holding its annual Easter event Saturday, March 27th, from 1pm-4pm on the square. Everyone is invited! There will be a whole range of events including:
A Fun Jump, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Train Rides, An Egg Hunt, and Pictures With The Easter Bunny.

3. Approved Council meeting minutes for March 8, 2010. (Agenda Item #3)
4. Approved Ordinance for a zoning change from SF-1 to CO on 2.7 acres at 1500 W. 380 Business (Agenda Item #4)
5. Held first reading of an Ordinance canceling the General Election scheduled for May 8, 2010 (Agenda Item #5)
6. Held first reading of an Ordinance amending Chapter 13, of the Code of Ordinances – Traffic and Motor Vehicles to address issues related to vehicle towing (Agenda Item #6)
7. Held first reading of an Ordinance amending Article II of Chapter 13, of the Code of Ordinances – dealing with traffic and motor vehicles, providing for the yielding of right-of-way when emerging from a private road or alley(Agenda Item #7)
8. Held first reading of an Ordinance amending Chapter 13, of the Code of Ordinances dealing with traffic and motor vehicles, adopting a new Article IV defining various parking violations and parking enforcement (Agenda Item #8)
9. Approved “Performance Agreement” between the Decatur Economic Development Corporation and United Rotocraft Solutions, L.L.C. in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 (Agenda Item #9)

General Election May 8th, 2010
The City will hold an election on May 8, 2010 for the following: Mayor (at-large), Place 1 (must reside in District 1), Place 3 (must reside in District 3) and Place 5 (at-large) Councilmember seats, all terms are for two years.
