We are open! Our current hours are 10 am-6 pm, Monday-Friday.
During this pandemic, we appreciate your patience as we follow protocols to keep everyone—our community members and our staff—safe. We ask that you wear a mask when you enter the library; if you do not have one, we have disposable masks available. We have reopened on a limited basis, and are ensuring that we follow all recommended health practices, including social distancing, disinfecting highly-trafficked areas, and wearing PPE. At this time, it is not possible for us to safely open the library stacks for browsing and still maintain these standards. You are welcome to use our computers, place holds online or call us to request items, and get information at the front desk, in addition to using our digital resources. Thank you for your support of Decatur Public Library.
Dewey Like Murder? is a segment of the Long Overdue Podcast. Listen to Dawn and Denice discuss true crime books pulled from the shelves of our collection. New episodes are available to stream or download on the second Friday of the month!
Subscribe, follow, or listen to us on Stitcher, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play Music, or Soundcloud!
