Fire Administration

Fire Administration directs, coordinates and provides support for all areas of the department including:

  • Supervising all operations within the department
  • Managing all staff
  • Providing financial and budget administration
  • Oversees records management
  • Serves as the public's point of contact for inquiries and non-emergency assistance

Our organization has a combination of paid and volunteer firefighters working under the direction of Fire Chief Deroy Bennett. We are dedicated to providing the best possible service to the citizens of Decatur.
