TRANSFER OR FINAL SERVICE
To Transfer Service
Transferring your utility service can only be done when transferring from one address within Decatur City limits to another address within Decatur City limits. Please note: Outstanding balance(s) from any/all past or existing accounts must be paid in full at the time of transfer.
To ensure an accurate and smooth transfer of service:
- Print an Application for Transfer of Service
- Complete all highlighted sections
- Return you application to the Utilities Department at City Hall:
- In person at 201 E. Walnut St., Decatur, Tx 76234
- Via email: Utilities Department
To Disconnect Service
When disconnecting your utility service, please be sure to submit your service Disconnection Form at least ONE BUSINESS DAY PORIOR to your desired disconnection date.
To ensure an accurate and smooth disconnection process:
- Print and complete a Service Disconnection Form

Complete and submit a Service Disconnection Webform - If you printed a disconnect form, please complete all highlighted sections and return to the Utilities Department at City Hall:
